Tour Recap: August Traveling Beer Brunch, Tampa

Brunch_cover

If you weren’t onboard the Traveling Beer Brunch on Sunday you missed a great time. The group enjoyed a specialty food item paired with a Brew Bus beer at three awesome brunch spots in the Tampa area.

If you are unfamiliar with this spot you are missing out on one of the hidden gems of Brandon for awesome craft beers and delicious food. They hit it out of the park with their pairing of our limited released Vanilla Rollin Dirty with their take on Chicken and Waffles. The Sriracha Maple Glaze really brought out all the robust and vanilla flavors of the beer.

Stop 2: Bacon & Egg Waffle Slider at Anise Global Gastrobar

They are a brick and mortar location that was developed from a local food truck called Stinky Bunz. They have really made a name for themselves in the few years at this location with winning craft cocktail and food competitions around the Tampa Bay Area. Their pairing of Rollin Dirty Irish Style Red Ale and their Bacon, Egg and Waffle Slider was hands down delicious. The real star on the plate was the breakfast tots with the herb sour cream drizzle.

They have only been around for a little over a year and have really become a destination spot for many people of Tampa Bay. Their famous Duck Wings and crazy skewered Bloody Marys leave everyone with an unforgettable experience. Their pairing of our You’re My Boy Blue Blueberry Wheat Ale with Duck and Toast was phenomenal. The sweetness from the blueberries and breadiness from the beer really complimented the richness of the duck and the fluffiness of the French Toast well.
